Mardi Gras Evening at Rehearsal

It was a chilly evening outside, but inside rehearsal with Canadian Showtime Chorus, the energy was anything but cold. Our Mardi Gras–themed night brought bright beads, bold colours, and plenty of laughter, instantly warming both spirits and voices. The room buzzed with excitement as we embraced the festive atmosphere, proving that a little creativity can chase away any winter chill.

Sarah led us through a lively and engaging warmup that had everyone moving, stretching, laughing, and fully present. Julie crafted fun, purposeful exercises that not only warmed our voices but sharpened our focus as we continue preparing for Regionals. From playful vocal slides to rhythmic challenges, every activity built skills while keeping smiles on our faces.

Between the music, the decorations, and the shared determination, it was a wonderful reminder that even on the coldest nights, harmony, friendship, and a touch of Mardi Gras magic can keep us glowing.
